welcome to the GetMyPermit community 👋

hey everyone, I'm the founder of GetMyPermit and I wanted to take the time to personally welcome you here

when I moved to the US in 2024, I ended up failing my permit test the first time. the handbook was very long, and I didn't know what to focus on. I tried other apps, but I didn't like them, and I didn't find them as accurate as I needed them to be. most of them also felt like they weren't made for people like me

as a gen z, I wanted something that actually fit the way we learn, and nobody was really focusing on that. so I thought: why not build the app I wish I'd had?

whether your test is next week or you're just getting started, we've built everything you need to make sure you pass. every question comes with a quote from the handbook page it's based on, so you can see that everything is pulled from the official source

this community is for all of us who are working toward getting our license, or who had to deal with this in the past: • feel free to ask questions • share tips and what helped you study • PLEASE POST WHEN YOU PASS! we WANT to hear about it, nothing makes us more happy!

a few ground rules: be kind, keep it helpful, and don't share personal info like your address or license number

I read every post here, so if you have feedback or ideas to make the app better, drop them below. I'd love to hear from you

good luck, YOU'VE GOT THIS!
